Daniel McCullough was born in Hilton Head Island, SC where he lived until the age of 10. Then, he moved to Vidalia, GA with his Grandparents, Paul and Linda Eason. Daniel was raised in Vidalia First United Methodist Church where he encountered and accepted Christ into his heart in the sixth grade.

Daniel’s involvement was steady through out high school. He sang in the Youth choir, played on the Youth worship team and was a part of the Youth Leadership Council. During this time, Daniel began to develop his musical talents and ability to lead worship.

Daniel graduated from Vidalia High School in May of 2007 and attended Georgia College and State University. After a year there, a previous offer to play collegiate soccer was re-presented by Brewton-Parker College. Coincidentally, Daniel’s Youth Pastor throughout high school was now his new Head Coach. While at Brewton-Parker, Daniel became heavily involved in the youth ministry he was once apart of at Vidalia First Methodist.

After his first season with the Brewton-Parker soccer team, Daniel was given the opportunity to lead worship for Vidalia First Baptist’s youth during the off season. He continued to do this throughout the rest of 2009 and the beginning of 2010. In March of 2010, Daniel was asked by George Holcomb to take on the role of worship leader for the youth of Lyons First Baptist Church. Little did either of them know, George would eventually become Daniel’s father-in-law.

After much prayer and consideration, Daniel transferred back to Georgia College with a call to minister to the campus he first fell in love with. Upon moving back, Daniel became very involved with local campus ministries, namely BCM (Baptist Collegiate Ministries), where he led worship for the Fall and Spring semester. In the Fall of 2011, Daniel became the Worship Coordinator for GCSU’s BCM. In 2011, BCM saw its largest growth ever seen by students and alumni.

Daniel started serving First Baptist Eatonton on September 18, 2011 as the part-time Minister of Youth and has since then taken on full-time starting January 2, 2012.

On November 24, 2011, Daniel asked for Julie Holcomb’s hand in marriage on the back lawn of The Ritz Carlton at Reynold’s Plantation. Julie is excited to join such a loving and warm church family, and see how God is going to move and cause this church to grow! Daniel and Julie are to be married on April 14, 2012.
